How long does it take to replace a furnace?
We aim to have every furnace installed within 4-8 hours time. We have seen faster installs when the residence is prepared and encourage communication beforehand about what to expect.
How is a Furnace Sized?
We advise customers that your system should provide at minimum 25-30 Btu of heat per square foot. Depending on your geographic location this recommendation could change. A medium-sized home of two-thousand square feet would require approximately 60,000 Btu to efficiently heat.
How much does a furnace cost?
For a high-efficiency furnace, on average, with a minimum of two stages, Canadian homeowners can expect to pay between $2500 and $7000
How long does a furnace last?
Furnaces may seem like a pricey investment, but they are critical in a Canadian climate. If you take care, Service and maintain them correctly, they could last 15-20 years.
How can you tell how old a furnace is?
If your furnace is less than 30 years old, look on the unit’s surface for a metal or paper tag with a serial number and manufacturer details. If the build/delivery date is not listed, it could be hidden in the serial number. Alternatively, you can call the furnace manufacturer or allow one of our technicians to research it for you.
